Girl Guides is a program that incentivises girls to empower girls. The program provides a safe environment for girls age 5-17 with the opportunity to try new experiences, challenge themselves, and build their confidence. Our volunteers help deliver a unique program that encourages girls to enhance their skills in outdoor activities, financial literacy, mental health, advocacy, and more. The Girl Guides program at the YMCA Immigrant Centre is free to newcomer girls.
